Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a dedicated administrative support professional to assist unit-based and hospital-wide clinicians and staff. You will coordinate patient flow, schedule tests and consultations, and enter admissions, discharges and transfers into the electronic medical record, while maintaining confidentiality and providing outstanding customer service.

Based at Assembly Row in Somerville (MA), this onsite role runs Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Associate’s Degree in related field of study preferred
• Certified Health Unit Coordinator preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to clinicians and staff
• Greet patients and visitors professionally
• Enter admissions, discharges and transfers into the EMR
• Schedule tests, consultations, and patient transport
• Coordinate communications and information flow at nursing stations
• Assist with payroll duties or staff scheduling where needed
