Job summary

S.P. Richards Company is seeking a transportation supervisor to manage the delivery network, schedule drivers and routes, and ensure DOT compliance. The role supervises delivery staff and collaborates across the distribution center, division, and corporate levels.

The position emphasizes teamwork, safety, and process improvements to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction. Evening shift hours and a focus on operational excellence are included.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver's license for CDL Trucks.
• Must meet SPR's Driving Standards as provided at time of interview and maintain those standards.
• Ability to safely drive to customers on established routes and operate a manual transmission vehicle.
• Must meet all DOT regulations and requirements for truck drivers.

Responsibilities

• Manages, coordinates and directs the transportation network within an assigned area.
• Schedules drivers and assigns routes to maximize productivity and ensure DOT compliance.
• Supervises delivery employees and ensures drivers meet duties and responsibilities.
• Develops and maintains transportation procedures to maximize delivery efficiency and minimize costs.
• Supports teamwork and builds strong working relationships across Distribution Center, Division and corporate levels.
