Job summary

Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in New Jersey is seeking an experienced RN for the Telemetry Float Pool to support Coly Rectal, Medical/Surgical, CTICU Stepdown, Neuro Stepdown, and Heart Failure/Stroke units with diverse patient populations. This full‑time evening position features 12.5‑hour shifts (7p–8a), four days per week totaling 37.5 hours, and every other weekend.

NJ RN license and BLS are required; orientation and ongoing education are provided to maintain high standards of patient

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with NJ RN license.
• Completion of hospital orientation requirements at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center.
• Preferred: Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or currently matriculating toward BSN.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care across Telemetry Float Pool units with diverse patient needs.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient education.
• Demonstrate proficient nursing assessment, IV care and phlebotomy within unit policies.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety and privacy.
