Job summary

LVC Companies, based in Golden Valley, MN, is seeking a Technical Services Specialist for the B shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM CST) to provide hands-on and remote technical assistance in security and technology. The role focuses on LSP coordination, QA/QC, and national project support, with travel as needed.

Essential tasks include coordinating LSPs, validating scope, reviewing work for accuracy, and assisting with project turnover notes and remote programming.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in installing and troubleshooting video surveillance and card access systems.
• Ability to obtain LVC line card manufacturer certifications.
• Understanding of low voltage system integration (video surveillance, intrusion, access control, data cabling and fire).
• Familiarity with NEC and network technology integration.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and after-hours escalation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate LSP check-in/out, verify scope, document blockers and updates.
• Provide QA/QC review of completed work and ensure alignment with standards.
• Offer remote and on-site support for national projects and after-hours coverage.
• Assist turnover notes, punch lists, and remote programming for national service.
• Prepare installation documents and perform tests prior to installation.
