Job summary

Low Voltage Contractors (LVC) is seeking a Technical Services Specialist for the B shift (3:00PM - 11:00PM CST) in Minnesota. You will provide hands-on, written, remote, and in-person technical assistance in security and technology to project managers, sales teams, technicians, subcontractors, LSPs, and customers during the evening shift.

Responsibilities include QA/QC review, remote troubleshooting, and handoffs to daytime operations.

Qualifications

Minimum five years installing and troubleshooting video surveillance and card access systems.
Understanding of low voltage system integration (video surveillance, intrusion, access control, data cabling and fire) is required.
Understanding of network technology integration with low voltage systems is required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

Coordinate LSP check-in/out and track field updates.
Review QA/QC and closeout information for accuracy and completeness.
Provide remote and on-site technical support for national projects.
Develop installation documents and perform programming and testing of security equipment.
Provide shift handoff notes and after-hours support.
