Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division seeks a Senior Flex Assembly Associate for our Sumter, SC facility. The role involves wiring, assembling, and installing metal bus bars and internal switchboard components, following diagrams and blueprints. The position is on B shift, 2:00 p.m.

to 12:00 a.m., Monday through Thursday, with a $23.00 hourly rate and eligibility for a variable incentive program. You will work with a team to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals, perform 5S duties, and

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; 1 year manufacturing or operations experience.
U.S. work authorization without sponsorship; no relocation benefits.
Willing to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

Assemble metal bus bars and switchboard components from diagrams and blueprints.
Wire components using hand tools and measure materials with a tape measure.
Follow power flow guidelines and safety regulations during wiring.
Maintain progress and communicate shortages or issues.
Identify process improvements and perform root cause analysis.
Ensure quality through inspections and troubleshoot defects.
Contribute to safe, inclusive culture and perform 5S duties.
Cross-train and stand in for other roles when needed.
