Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology or related program.
• Completion of surgical tech apprenticeship or military program.

Responsibilities

• The Surgical Technician prepares the operating room, instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
• Maintains the sterile field during surgery and assists with scrubbing in as needed.
• Assists with a range of specialties, including general surgery, gynecology, urology, podiatry, and plastics.
