Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Department Manager or equivalent experience required.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and manage associates across multiple departments.
• Must meet minimum age requirements and physical requirements.
• Certified Food Safety Manager or willing to attain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with day-to-day store operations.
• Hire, train and develop associates.
• Coach and manage performance of staff.
• Maintain customer service focus and store presentation to Food Lion standards.
• Ensure security, safety and food safety compliance across the store.
• Utilize financial reports and inventory systems to support store goals.
