Food Lion in Greensboro, NC is seeking an Evening Operations Leader to oversee store activities after hours. You will support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager, ensure merchandise quality, and uphold safety and food safety standards while delivering fast, friendly service to customers.

The role requires strong store operations knowledge, leadership, and the ability to manage associates across departments. Candidates must meet physical requirements and pass required certifications.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Department Manager or equivalent experience required.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
• Desire and ability to lead and manage associates across multiple departments.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Accredited by the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals or able to achieve accreditation within 90 days.

Responsabilités

• Assist Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager with day-to-day store operations.
• Responsible for hiring, training, and developing associates.
• Manage performance through coaching and evaluations.
• Provide leadership and motivation reflecting Food Lion's values and strategy.
• Ensure proper control of all store funds and assets.
• Observe and ensure compliance with safety, security, and food safety standards.
• Utilize tools like financial reports, ACIS, CAO, scheduling, and BI systems.
• Support achievement of store budgeted financial and operating results.
• Maximize sales through customer service and minimize shrink.
• Ensure staffing meets business needs across departments.
