Job summary

New Vista KY in Louisville, KY is seeking a compassionate supervisor to oversee Direct Support Professionals and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting. This is a full-time evening shift (6:00 PM–6:00 AM, Wednesday through Saturday) with a rotating schedule and potential overtime.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and two years in the mental health or developmental disability field, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years' experience in Mental Health or Developmental Disability field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Direct Support Professionals to ensure programmatic and administrative activities are carried out.
• Monitor and supervise direct care staff in a residential setting.
• Ensure documentation for assigned unit is completed accurately and promptly.
• Provide training and mentoring to residential staff.
• Review schedules to ensure daily coverage for assigned unit.
• Maintain records of staff conduct and attendance and time cards.
