Job summary

New Vista is hiring for a full-time residential supervisor in Louisville, KY. You will oversee Direct Support Professionals, ensure client safety, and maintain treatment plans in a 6:00 PM–6:00 AM rotating schedule (Wednesday–Saturday).

This is a residential setting with mandatory overtime as needed. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 2 years in mental health or developmental disability, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years' experience in mental health or developmental disability field.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Human Services preferred.
• 1 year direct supervisor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, welfare and rights of clients with dignity.
• Supervise Direct Support Professionals and program activities.
• Maintain supplies to carry out treatment plans.
• Train and mentor residential staff.
• Review and document unit schedules and daily coverage.
• Monitor incident, restraint and injury reports for accuracy.
