Job summary

New Vista Of The Bluegrass Inc is seeking a full-time supervisor at Bingham Gardens in Louisville, KY, to oversee Direct Support Professionals in a residential setting.

Hours are 6:00PM–6:00AM, Wednesday–Saturday. Requires high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in mental health/developmental disabilities, and a valid driver’s license. A Bachelor's degree and 1 year supervisory experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 2+ years’ experience in mental health or developmental disability field.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Human Services is preferred.
• 1 year direct supervisor experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, welfare, and rights of clients with dignity and respect.
• Supervise Direct Support Professionals to carry out programmatic and administrative tasks.
• Maintain supplies for treatment plans and ensure documentation is complete.
• Review incident and staff injury reports for accuracy and timeliness.
• Develop work schedules to provide accurate daily coverage.
