Job summary

RRD is seeking an on-site Production/Operations associate in Utah. The role involves guiding employees, auditing processes to meet production specs, and maintaining strong cross-department relationships.

You will help ensure safety, quality, and policy adherence, inspect shipments, and coordinate training for new staff. The position requires strong communication, organization, and basic math skills, with lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing/operations environment.
• Proficient knowledge of technology including computers and software (MS Office, MAC word processing, spreadsheets).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills across departments.
• Strong organizational skills with deadline management.
• Able to lift up to 25–50 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds rarely.
• Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division; rate, ratio, percentages.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and guidance to employees and audit work processes to confirm production specifications are met.
• Maintain positive and effective relationships; direct employees to the appropriate manager.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, policies and procedures; report issues to management.
• Inspect products and/or shipments to verify conformance to specifications.
• Review and approve machine setups, production samples, and/or shipments as necessary.
• Identify opportunities for continual improvement; assist with meetings to coordinate production activities.
• Coordinate or perform training for new employees, contract workers, and guests on safety, quality, and production requirements.
• Ensure understanding of the Quality Policy and Objectives.
