Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the 8-hour Evening Shift in a hospital setting. The role focuses on delivering direct patient care using the Nursing Process, from admission to discharge, with emphasis on accurate assessment and discharge planning.

Applicants must hold MA RN licensure and BLS; ACLS is preferred or current where applicable. The position offers a non-exempt status with prorated compensation for part-time schedules and a commitment to high-quality patient

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is a requirement for every RN unless ACLS certification is current, in addition to any unit specific certifications and competencies.
• Experience with nursing assessment and discharge planning is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment/reassessment per standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates plan of care including discharge planning.
