Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for varied evening shifts in a care-focused environment. You will utilize the nursing process to manage patient care from admission through discharge, performing assessments and coordinating discharge planning with the team.

The role requires MA RN licensure with BLS; ACLS is preferred or currently held, and a BSN is highly preferred. Join a large, mission-driven health system committed to respectful, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification current or in place as appropriate.
• BSN degree strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for delivery and management of patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment.
• Develops and coordinates individual plan of care including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care within the assigned setting.
• Delegates tasks appropriately according to job description and competency.
