Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the evening shift to provide direct patient care and coordinate care plans in a dynamic hospital setting. You will use the nursing process from admission to discharge, performing assessments and guiding discharge planning with a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification as unit-specific or as required.
• BSN highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process for patient care from admission to discharge.
• Perform patient assessment and reassessment per standard procedure.
• Develop and coordinate individual care plans including discharge planning.
• Direct, supervise, and evaluate nursing care within the assigned setting.
• Delegate tasks to team members according to competency and job description.
