The Kinetic Group, a leading producer of ammunition, is seeking a Production Supervisor in Lonoke, Arkansas. The role leads a manufacturing team on the evening shift, focusing on safety, quality, and throughput while coordinating with engineering, maintenance, and planning staff.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree and at least two years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business, Industrial Management, Manufacturing Technology, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of two years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing operations.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, inventory control, and workplace safety practices.
• Strong communication, coaching, and team-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to analyze operational data, identify trends, solve problems, and make sound business decisions.
• Demonstrated accountability for both individual and team performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop production team members to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
• Coordinate personnel, equipment, and resources to meet production schedules and customer demand.
• Monitor and improve KPIs related to safety, quality, efficiency, waste reduction, and schedule attainment.
• Analyze production performance and identify opportunities to improve throughput, productivity, and manufacturing effectiveness.
• Participate in root cause analysis activities and implement corrective actions that prevent recurring issues.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Planning, Warehouse, and other cross-functional teams to drive production success.
• Lead employee engagement through effective communication, coaching, recognition, and performance management.
• Ensure team members receive training and development to build skills, maintain compliance, and support career growth.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and create development plans for team members.
• Support inventory accuracy initiatives by identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
• Maintain attendance and labor records.
• Conduct safety observations, audits, investigations, and corrective action activities.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and boost efficiency.
• Ensure effective shift-to-shift communication for safe operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
