Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2+ years of leadership experience in an industrial environment.
• Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Ability to present information one-on-one and to groups.
• Strong leadership and ability to support divisional objectives.
• Ability to solve practical problems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise hourly union personnel; assign work and maximize utilization of manpower and materials.
• Monitor performance, conduct reviews, and take corrective actions.
• Ensure product quality and adherence to standards; report discrepancies.
• Provide safety leadership; lead monthly safety meetings.
• Maintain timely production reports and timekeeping accuracy.
• Conduct shift start-up meetings and enforce company policies.
• Train new and temporary employees in department activities and safety procedures.
• Promote continuous improvement across teams and projects.
