Job summary
South Haven Health & Rehabilitation in Alabama is seeking an Evening Shift Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate nursing care from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. You will work with physicians, RNs, CNAs, therapists and the care team to deliver safe, high-quality, resident-centered care.
This full-time role offers a pay range of $25.00–$31.00 per hour, a $10,000 sign-on bonus, and shift differentials.
Qualifications
- Current Alabama LPN license
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate, resident-focused approach to care
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, resident-centered nursing care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor, assess, and report changes in resident condition
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
- Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants
- Educate residents and families regarding care plans
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
- Promote a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment
