Job summary

South Haven Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a Night Shift Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide skilled nursing care during the night (11:00 PM–7:00 AM). You will monitor resident health, respond to changes, and ensure compassionate, high-quality care throughout the night.

Work alongside an experienced clinical team in a supportive, resident-centered environment. You will administer medications, document care, collaborate with physicians, and supervise CNAs while maintaining compliance

Qualifications

• Active Alabama LPN license required.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the healthcare team.
• Compassionate, resident-centered approach.
• BLS/CPR certification (preferred).
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate nursing care to residents
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor residents throughout the night and report changes in condition
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants
• Respond appropriately to resident needs and emergencies
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
• Promote a safe, calm, and therapeutic environment

Position Overview
