Job summary

Rackson Restaurants in New Haven, CT is seeking a Restaurant Shift Leader for evening hours. The role reports to the Restaurant General Manager and guards store operations, guest service, and brand standards.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, handling cash, and training others while supporting the management team to execute the business plan. Availability for evenings and late nights is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent or restaurant management experience.
• Previous fast food restaurant experience required.
• English communication is required; Spanish helpful.
• Strong leadership and calm professionalism in challenging situations.
• Willing to learn all areas of restaurant operations & work multiple stations.
• Must have reliable transportation and be available evenings/weekends/holidays.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand long periods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee restaurant activities during shift to ensure smooth operations.
• Interact with guests, supervise staff, manage cash, and maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Collaborate with Management Team to execute business plan and train others.
• Resolve issues promptly while enforcing policies and procedures.
• Lead with empathy and teamwork; identify and develop talent for future roles.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
