Job summary

Convive Brands, parent company of Le Pain Quotidien, is hiring a Guest Service Team Member in Los Angeles. You will provide friendly, attentive service to guests from start to finish, take orders, and help maintain a welcoming dining environment.

This role offers hourly pay with tips, opportunities to grow within a portfolio including LPQ, California Pizza Kitchen, and Little Beet, and benefits like health coverage and PTO. Prior Toast POS experience is a plus, and flexibility is valued.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 months of related restaurant experience or training.
• Experience with POS systems, especially Toast.
• Flexibility in schedule preferred.
• Ability to be cross-trained in all dining room and retail spaces.
• Ability to speak, read, and understand the primary language of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and attentive service to all guests throughout the visit.
• Receive food and beverage orders, enter into the POS, and follow up with the kitchen.
• Anticipate guest needs and note any preferences.
• Maintain knowledge of pastry, bread, kitchen, beverage, and retail items.
• Prepare drinks for the dining room as needed.
• Handle guest situations with empathy and escalate to a manager.
• Complete opening, mid, and closing procedures and daily checklists.
• Organize money and receipts according to cash handling policy.
• Keep all restaurant areas clean and organized; assist with outdoor setup if applicable.
