Job summary

New Haven, a residential treatment center for adolescent girls in Utah, invites applicants for a shift supervisor role. The position pays $22 per hour and requires evening hours (MWF 4:00pm–11:00pm plus 2 Sundays monthly) at our Spanish Fork location.

You will supervise Mentors, onboard new staff, coordinate training, and participate in interdisciplinary teams with therapists and nurses. A background in psychology or related fields is helpful, with strong leadership and crisis management skills.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ and have a high school diploma (or equivalent), plus a valid Utah driver's license.
• Pass Utah State background check.
• Willing to commit for at least 8 months and obtain a Food Handler’s Permit before starting.
• Knowledge of student challenges, behavioral disorders, and medication protocols.
• Ability to work with interdisciplinary teams, lead by example, and manage crises calmly.
• Familiar with company policies, hiring and disciplinary procedures, and Mentor responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Mentors during shifts, recognizing standout performance.
• Assign responsibilities to ensure smooth shift operations.
• Partner with HR to identify, hire, and onboard candidates.
• Guide new hires through orientation.
• Facilitate weekly training sessions and coaching.
• Monitor staff performance and conduct quarterly reviews.
• Address performance issues using disciplinary protocols.
• Share shift updates during handoffs for continuity.
• Represent the shift in Treatment Team meetings.
• Lead quarterly safety drills and model best practices.
