Job summary

A NEW DAY INC is seeking an Evening Supervisor to oversee the Albuquerque youth shelter during evening hours. You will manage staff, supervise youth activities, and ensure a safe, supportive environment for residents aged 11–17 in the evening shift.

You will work with the Program Manager, address issues, coach staff, and ensure compliance with funder requirements while maintaining a positive milieu and effective operations.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising staff and programs for youth in a social service setting.
• Commitment to trauma-informed practices and positive youth development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee evening shelter operations, staff, and youth activities.
• Provide ongoing coaching to staff in model application and performance.
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed, maintaining safety for youth and staff.
• Address staff and youth concerns and manage paperwork required by funders.
• Monitor staff timekeeping and support programmatic elements.
