Job summary

TenderLove Community Center in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Night Shift Case Manager – Youth Transitional Housing to provide on-site support for youth in transitional housing during evening and overnight hours. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build trust, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and work with diverse populations.
• Comfort working overnight or late evening hours in an on-site environment and reliably fulfilling full-time schedule requirements.
• Knowledge of community resources related to housing, mental health, education, and employment for youth and young adults.
• Prior experience in nonprofit or community-based organizations and familiarity with trauma-informed, person-centered approaches.

Role Description:

The Night Shift Case Manager – Youth Transitional Housing is a full-time, on-site role located in Albuquerque, NM. This position provides direct support to youth living in transitional housing during evening and overnight hours, including monitoring safety, conducting regular check-ins, and responding to urgent needs or crises calmly and professionally. The case manager maintains accurate documentation of resident interactions, progress notes, and incident reports, and ensures compliance with program policies and procedures. Daily responsibilities include coordinating services with internal staff and community partners, assisting youth in setting goals related to education, employment, and life skills, and facilitating access to resources such as counseling, healthcare, and social services.
