Job summary

Catholic Charities of Baltimore Weinberg Housing & Resource Center is seeking an Operations Supervisor to ensure the safe, efficient operation of the facility and to oversee staff, volunteers, and maintenance. The role covers policy development, repairs coordination, and vendor relations to support high-quality services for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in management, business, human services or related field.
• Two years of related experience in human services, building operations or related fields.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Addresses critical building issues and resolves concerns from staff, clients, and volunteers.
• Maintains knowledge of services to provide accurate guidance and support.
• Collaborates with Program Director on planning, security needs, and vendor procurement.
• Develops and manages facility policies to support safe operations.
• Ensures safety and security of clients, staff, volunteers, and assets.
• Oversees inventory management and donation distribution with proper documentation.
• Maintains adequate staffing coverage and adjusts schedules as needed.
• Conducts regular shift meetings to review routines and emergency protocols.
• Supervises maintenance staff including hiring, onboarding, and evaluations.
