Catholic Community Services and Catholic Housing Services seeks an Evening Shift Supervisor for Bertha’s Place shelters to lead the team and ensure safe operations. You will manage staff, oversee data entry and HMIS tasks, and ensure policy compliance in a 24/7 setting.

The role requires experience supervising homeless services, strong communication, and a commitment to culturally competent, client-centered care aligned with CCS mission.

Qualifications

• 2 years of supervisory experience or lead capacity with homeless individuals.
• Experience with diverse population including mental health and chemical dependency issues.
• Flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, weekends.
• Ability to work in a team and promote a positive team spirit.
• Excellent oral and written communication; strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in Word and database use.
• Must pass required background checks prior to offer.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and insurance; driving record per CCS policy.
• Commitment to CCS and Catholic Housing Services mission and multi-cultural service delivery.

Responsabilités

• Ensure safety and security of employees and guests, responding to crises during evenings and on-call hours.
• Coordinate with Program Manager and Supervisors for consistent rules and teamwork.
• Supervise staff; data entry, reporting, HMIS, intake interviews, file maintenance, cleaning & laundry.
• Oversee behavioral management; help guests resolve conflicts and make pro-social choices.
• Oversee Ban process; ensure timely, factual, and descriptive bans.
• Cover on-call needs and coordinate with Supervisors and Program Manager.
