Job summary

Catholic Charities of Baltimore is seeking an Operations Supervisor for Weinberg Housing and Resource Center in Baltimore, MD. The role oversees daily operations, staff, volunteers, and maintenance to ensure safe, efficient service delivery to residents.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least two years in human services or building operations, with a Monday–Friday 3 PM–11 PM schedule. Compensation is approximately $50,000 annually with benefits typical of nonprofit employers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in management, business, human services or related field.
• Two years of related experience in human services, building operations or related area.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Addresses critical building issues and resolves staff, client, and volunteer concerns.
• Maintains knowledge of services provided to clients to offer accurate guidance.
• Collaborates with Program Director on operational planning, security needs, and vendor procurement.
• Develops and manages facility policies to support safe operations.
• Ensures safety and security of clients, staff, volunteers, and assets at all times.
• Oversees inventory management and distribution of donations with proper documentation.
• Ensures adequate staffing for all shifts and adjusts schedules as needed.
• Leads shift meetings to review routines and emergency protocols.
• Manages and directs maintenance staff, including hiring and performance reviews.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
