Job summary

Flagstaff Shelter Services is seeking a dedicated staff member to support clients and staff on weekends with day or overnight shifts. The role requires maintaining confidentiality, overseeing HMIS data quality, and upholding professional standards across all interactions with clients, donors, and partners.

You will lead by example, coordinate with coordinators and on-site providers, attend meetings and trainings, and ensure a safe, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of homelessness population and vulnerable individuals.
• Familiarity with shelter resources and community navigation.
• Ability to model de-escalation and conflict mediation.
• Ability to de-escalate crisis while providing supervision.
• Basic computer software proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example with informed decision making and rapport with staff, clients, and community partners.
• Maintain positive relationships with coordinators, case managers, and on-site providers to ensure continuity of care.
• Attend team meetings and trainings; conduct regular team meetings with Coordinators.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect individual rights; ensure all services are confidential.
• Monitor HMIS data quality and ensure SOP compliance.
• Summarize shift events during handoffs and update shift reports and incident logs.
• Oversee weekend, additional shifts and holidays as requested.
• Perform any duties aligned with program goals.
