Carvana is seeking a Safe and Secure Associate in New York, NY. You will be the face of Carvana at facilities, ensuring protection of associates, customers, and assets while following egress and digress procedures, and supporting Inventory Control.

This role emphasizes incident preparedness, strong communication, and decisive action in a fast-paced environment. Applicants should have 1–2 years in a customer service setting, solid written and verbal skills, and the ability to adapt to shift

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience within a customer service environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven track record of strong decision-making in a complex environment.
• Ability to relate well with others and establish strong working relationships.
• Ability to organize, plan, and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to handle conflict situations in a positive way.
• Knowledge of CCTV, RFID, Card Access, and other Safe and Secure Technology.
• Previous experience supporting an OSHA program – Safety Team
• Experience supporting crisis prevention and/or response plans

Responsibilities

• Manage and document movement of cars into/out of the Inspection Center gates.
• Be the face of Carvana to associates, vendors, and visitors.
• Lead with effective communication with team, partners, and customers.
• Conduct routine patrols of the Inspection Center and facility yard, noting safety concerns.
• Become trained on life saving measures such as first aid, CPR, AED.
• Partner with Team Lead/Manager on badge creation, CCTV review, and related tasks.
• Promote an incident-ready focus and follow Incident Response Protocol.
• De-escalate situations while upholding Carvana values.
