Job summary

Carvana in New York is seeking a hands-on Safe & Secure team member to protect associates, customers, and vehicles across our busy site. This boots-on-the-ground role covers gate presence, vehicle checks, safety audits, and incident response, with training in first aid and CPR.

You’ll work at the gate, scan vehicles, enforce ingress/egress, and help keep the site open in all weather. We value reliability, teamwork, and the ability to stay calm under pressure while delivering clear, respectful

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a customer service environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• A track record of solid decision-making in a complex, fast-moving environment.
• Ability to build strong working relationships and connect with people quickly.
• Ability to organize, plan, and execute multiple tasks at once in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to handle conflict in a positive, productive way.

Responsibilities

• Lead with a service-first mindset in every interaction.
• Be the face of Carvana at the gate for associates, vendors, and visitors.
• Use the Safe & Secure App and RFID tech to enforce ingress/egress procedures.
• Monitor live cameras, review footage, and investigate intrusion alerts.
• Run safety audits and reinforce best practices with on-site teams.
• Manage vehicle movement through entrance/exit gates and restock supplies.
