Job summary

FAIRMONT New Orleans is seeking a courteous Bell/Guest Services associate to warmly welcome guests and assist with entrances, doors, and luggage. You will guide guests, provide local recommendations, and coordinate transportation at hotel entrances.

You will collaborate with Bell Services, Valet, Front Office, Security, and Concierge teams to ensure seamless guest experiences, while maintaining a professional appearance and security standards in a fast-paced luxury setting.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality, guest service, valet, bell, transportation, or customer service experience preferred.
• Luxury hotel or upscale hospitality experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong guest service mindset with a welcoming and professional demeanor.
• Ability to remain composed and attentive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
• Professional appearance and polished demeanor required.
• Flexible schedules including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts as operationally required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly on arrival and departure from the hotel.
• Open and assist with entrance and vehicle doors while maintaining a courteous presence.
• Provide directions, hotel information, and local recommendations.
• Assist with coordinating vehicle traffic and transportation flow at entrances.
• Coordinate with Bell Services, Valet, Front Office, Security, and Concierge teams.
• Assist guests with luggage coordination and transportation requests.
• Monitor entrance areas for cleanliness, organization, and safety.
• Respond promptly to guest questions and service requests.
• Support VIP, group arrivals and high-volume events.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
