Job summary

Alden is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants in daily activities. The role requires adherence to federal, state, and local standards with a focus on maintaining high quality care.

The RN will plan and direct care, lead nursing staff, and participate in care planning, rounds, and documentation to ensure optimal resident well‑being and safety.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN.
• Must possess CPR certificate or become certified within two weeks of employment.
• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures.
• Interest and/or knowledge in care of the aged.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents.
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and facility policies.
• Plan, develop, and direct patient care plans; conduct rounds and monitor care quality.
• Maintain accurate nursing notes, charting, and documentation.
