Job summary

Alden is seeking a licensed nurse supervisor to provide direct nursing care and oversee the daily nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. The role requires adherence to federal, state, and local standards and facility policies to ensure high-quality care for residents.

Responsibilities include planning, directing care, staff oversight, and coordination with physicians, with emphasis on patient safety, documentation, and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Must possess current RN or LPN license in IL/WI.
• CPR certification or willingness to become certified within two weeks.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures.
• Experience or interest in care of the aged.
• Strong reading, writing and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and supervise nursing assistants.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local standards and facility policies.
• Plan and direct patient care activities to maintain quality care.
• Develop and implement care plans and conduct rounds.
• Maintain accurate nursing records and coordinate with physicians.
