San Jose Behavioral Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) House Supervisor for the Evening shift in San Jose, CA. This full-time leadership role focuses on safe, quality patient care and efficient unit operations.

The ideal candidate has an RN license in California and at least 1 year of RN experience, with BSN preferred. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered within a 133-bed inpatient psychiatric setting.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited school of nursing is preferred.
• Current RN license in the state where the facility is located is required.
• Greater than 1 year of RN experience strongly preferred.
• 1 year of RN experience in any setting required.

Responsibilities

• Anticipates and effectively manage changes in census and acuity and allocates nursing resources based on patient acuity.
• Role models customer service expectations and prioritizes patient safety.
• Ensure staffing for each unit and maintain appropriate staff ratios.
• Document medical and behavioral health information and nursing care; administer medications.
• Mentor and train staff; coordinate care with physicians and other disciplines.
