Job summary

NEW MEXICO BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE LL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) House Supervisor for a psychiatric hospital. The role provides clinical leadership and operational oversight for all inpatient units during assigned shifts, ensuring safe, therapeutic patient care and staff support.

Qualifications

• RN must be licensed and in good standing in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS and CPI/PMAB or equivalent crisis intervention training preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of psychiatric nursing experience; prior charge/lead/supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in acute inpatient psychiatric or behavioral health settings required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and oversee care across all psychiatric units on assigned shifts.
• Manage hospital-wide patient flow, staffing, and on-shift operations.
• Coach, mentor, and provide performance feedback to staff; resolve staff and patient concerns.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers with intake, providers, and unit leadership.
• Ensure documentation, incident reporting, and communication of critical information to oncoming staff.
