Job summary
Genesis HealthCare is seeking an RN Supervisor to support the Director of Nursing in delivering efficient, high-quality nursing care. You will oversee nursing units, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with policies while coordinating with other departments across shifts.
The role requires an accredited nursing degree and active RN licensure in the state. You will participate in recruitment and orientation, helping to maintain safe, 24/7 care and staffing levels in a supportive, collaborative
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
- Current RN licensure in the state.
Responsibilities
- Lead the clinical operations of the nursing units on assigned shift, ensuring compliance with policies and standards.
- Facilitate care delivery model implementation and mentor staff, coordinating with other departments.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff for safe 24/7 care, minimizing overtime and agency use.
- Participate in staff recruitment, orientation, and make recommendations for promotions, transfers, and terminations.
