Job summary

Genesis HealthCare in West Virginia is seeking an RN Supervisor to support the Director of Nursing in delivering efficient, high-quality care. This role covers 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM shifts and requires leading clinical operations, ensuring policy compliance, mentoring staff, and coordinating care across departments.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with active RN licensure in the state; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current RN licensure by the State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

Support the Director of Nursing with delivery of efficient and effective nursing care.
Lead, guide and direct clinical operations of nursing units on assigned shift.
Facilitate care delivery model implementation and mentor staff.
Coordinate with other departments to maintain safe, 24/7 nursing care and minimize overtime.
Participate in staff recruitment, new hire orientation and make recommendations for promotions, transfers, and terminations.
