Job summary

Good Samaritan - Woodland in Brainerd, MN is seeking a Part Time RN for evening shifts (2:00pm–10:30pm) with rotating weekends and holidays. You will apply the nursing process to plan, provide and coordinate care, interacting with residents, families, and an interdisciplinary team.

Requires MN RN license (or multistate licensure) and a Bachelor's in nursing. Competitive benefits, sign-on bonus, and weekend incentives are offered to qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• The RN uses the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents and collaborates with residents, families and interdisciplinary colleagues.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff to ensure safe, reliable resident care.
• Functions within the Nurse Practice Act and professional standards in the state of practice.
