Riderwood Village by Erickson Senior Living is hiring registered nurses (RNs) to support our Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing settings on part-time day and evening shifts. The RN will promote health and wellbeing by collaborating with the care team and families, providing both physical and psychosocial support.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Maryland is required.
• Minimum of 6 months experience as an RN.
• Experience with seniors or cognitive impairment preferred.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office and web apps.
• EMR experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families using a consistent caregiver approach.
• Perform clinical duties in accordance with state nurse practice act and standards.
• Promote resident independence by setting care goals and educating residents and families.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes to ensure comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with care associates to perform routine nursing care as needed.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and administer medications per orders.
• Coordinate holistic care plans with interdisciplinary and neighborhood teams.
• Support resident preferences in the electronic medical record.
• Ensure documentation is current and timely.
• Participate in care conferences as requested by Clinical Manager.
