Job summary

Riderwood Village by Erickson Senior Living is hiring part-time Registered Nurses for day and evening shifts in our Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing settings. You will promote health and wellbeing by collaborating with providers, the interdisciplinary team, and resident families.

Responsibilities include clinical duties per state nursing standards, documentation, infection prevention, and contributing to a holistic plan of care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Maryland.
• Minimum 6 months RN experience.
• Experience caring for seniors or with cognitive impairment preferred.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.
• Electronic medical record experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families using a consistent caregiver approach, supporting physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
• Perform clinical duties in accordance with state nurse practice act and nursing standards of practice.
• Promote resident independence by establishing care goals and teaching residents/family members to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
• Monitor resident clinical and care conditions and respond to status changes to ensure comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with care associates to perform routine nursing care for assigned residents.
• Maintain infection prevention practices, administer medications, and perform treatments per orders.
• Develop and coordinate a holistic care plan with the interdisciplinary team.
• Support resident preferences, routines, and choices in the EMR.
• Ensure documentation is current, accurate, and timely.
• Participate in care conferences for designated residents as requested by Clinical Manager.
