Job summary

Great Lakes Management Co in Minnetonka, MN is hiring a Part-time Resident Assistant (PM's & On Call) to provide hands-on care to residents in a skilled facility. Shifts include evenings, overnights, and early mornings with an hourly wage of $18.00 to $24.00 and shift differentials.

The Resident Assistant will communicate with residents and families, assist with activities of daily living, and support the care team under RN supervision. A compassionate, reliable professional is essential.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in long-term care or assisted living (preferred).
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred).
• Ability to make responsible choices and decisions in the resident’s best interests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs as indicated on the service agreement.
• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of independence.
• Provide residents with physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the resident service agreement.
• Observe residents and report changes in physical and emotional condition to the case manager.
• Interact with residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection as appropriate.
• Complete all required documentation daily, service schedule, flow sheet, communication book, etc.
