Job summary

Great Lakes Management is seeking a Full-time Resident Assistant in Minnetonka, MN. The role involves providing hands-on care and emotional support to residents, with shifts from 6:30 AM to 2:45 PM. The pay range is $18.00 to $24.00 hourly.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, supporting residents, coordinating with the RN, and documenting daily activities. Benefits include shift differentials and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living residence (Preferred).
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (Preferred).
• Ability to make responsible choices and decisions and act in the resident’s best interests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) as indicated on the service plan.
• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence.
• Provide residents with both physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the resident service agreement.
• Observe clients and report changes in physical and emotional condition to the case manager.
• Interact with residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection as appropriate.
• Complete all required documentation daily, service schedule, flow sheet, communication book, etc.
