Job summary

Russ Darrow Madison Kia in Madison, WI is seeking a friendly, dependable Receptionist/Cashier to be the welcoming first point of contact for customers in a fast-paced dealership setting. This part-time evening position requires strong communication, basic accounting tasks, and comfort with cash handling, with Microsoft Office experience a plus.

You will greet customers, answer calls, process payments, and support office operations while representing the dealership professionally.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Flexible availability on weeknights and weekends.
• Professional personal appearance and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in person and over the phone in a professional, courteous manner
• Answer incoming calls, determine the nature of the call, and route callers to the appropriate department promptly
• Operate the switchboard telephone system efficiently and accurately
• Receive cash, check, and credit card payments; issue receipts and make change accurately
• Perform routine accounting tasks related to accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Assist managers and office staff with clerical and administrative duties as needed
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, vendors, and internal team members
• Learn dealership departments, procedures, and internal processes to assist customers efficiently
