Job summary

Advocate Health's Radiology department at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, IL, is seeking a full-time Radiologic Technologist for day shifts. You will determine imaging techniques, position patients, and operate radiographic, fluoroscopic, portable, and PACS equipment to deliver high-quality exams.

Responsibilities include ensuring accurate labeling, maintaining patient safety, documenting findings, and contributing to performance improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiographic Technology and previous radiology experience preferred.
• Ability to recognize needs and behaviors across age groups and provide age-appropriate care.
• Knowledge of Radiology Information Computer System and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Determine appropriate radiographic technique and position patients for optimal image quality.
• Operate radiographic, fluoroscopic, portable, computed radiography and PACS equipment.
• Label images and use proper tech markers according to standards; ensure QC checks.
• Deliver patient care with timely patient flow and accurate history documentation.
• Maintain safety, participate in quality improvement, and support department goals.
• Assist in leadership development and professional growth through committees and training.
