Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Production Supervisor for our Pelzer, SC manufacturing site to lead multiple teams across CNC Machining Operations, Feeder Processes and Machine Shop Production. You will drive performance, safety, quality and on-time delivery, reporting to the Production Manager.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of senior supervision in manufacturing, plus experience with ERP/MRP systems, and a proven track record of meeting production targets while developing staff.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of senior supervision/management experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
• ERP/MRP electronic production control systems experience.
• Proven track record of leading teams to achieve production targets in a customer-focused setting.
• Experience working with KPIs to meet business goals.
• Extensive people-management experience including training, performance assessment and employee engagement.
• Demonstrated health & safety awareness in a factory environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage 60+ personnel under the supervision of the Production Manager.
• Lead and motivate staff to improve performance and achieve objectives.
• Oversee planning, execution, monitoring and continuous improvement of CNC Machining Operations, Feeder Processes and Machine Shop Production.
• Communicate with Production Manager, Scheduler Team Leaders, Project Engineers, Logistics, and Stores to ensure on-time shipping.
