Wesco in Illinois is seeking a Production Assembler to assemble fabricated parts, calibrate components to meet specifications, and identify and repair units that fail tests. You will help improve productivity and efficiency on the production floor.
The role involves assembling parts, following procedures, and performing routine inspections and maintenance. You will be on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as part of daily tasks.
As a Production Assembler, you will assemble fabricated parts, components or units at floor stations. You will prepare parts for testing, test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. You will perform complex machine set up and identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repair as necessary. You will be responsible for proposing measures to increase productivity and efficiency.
Monday through Friday; 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
