Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a PM Assistant Chief Engineer to support the Chief Engineer in overseeing the hotel’s mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems during the PM shift. This role ensures timely completion of work orders and maintains safety standards across guest rooms and public areas.

The position provides leadership and guidance to Engineering staff, assists with preventative maintenance, and upholds hotel standards and procedures to ensure smooth

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Technical training, trade certifications, or equivalent experience in Engineering or facilities maintenance desirable.
• Experience in hotel Engineering or facilities maintenance, with supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Engineering Department during the PM shift.
• Direct and support Engineering associates to complete maintenance requests per hotel standards.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair malfunctions in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems.
• Coordinate scheduled preventative maintenance including guest room upkeep and equipment inspections.
• Respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies and coordinate with hotel leadership as needed.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and hotel operating standards.
