Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Lab Support Tech I to assist with specimen collection, lab processing, and clerical tasks. The role includes patient interaction, phlebotomy procedures, and support for data entry within hospital information systems.

Standard weekend schedule applies (Saturday/Sunday) with 2:30 pm–11 pm shifts and 16 hours per week. A signing bonus may be available; final terms to be confirmed during interview.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy training preferred.
• ASCP certification or eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and direct them to appropriate service areas.
• Perform phlebotomy procedures and associated lab tasks.
• Enter orders and manage specimen handling in hospital systems.
