Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license required.
• ASCP certification or eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood samples using venipuncture across all age groups.
• Receive, label and prioritize specimens (STAT/STROKE/CSF) accurately.
• Restock supplies and maintain a clean, organized drawing station.
• Demonstrate mastery of hospital information systems and test ordering.
• Answer calls courteously and provide coverage for incoming calls.
• Perform heel sticks and PKU collections.
• Adhere to PPE usage and safety protocols during shifts.
• Support emergency room operations and patient draws as needed.
